If you have Part A and Part B, you can join a Medicare Advantage Plan, sometimes called “Part C” or an “MA plan.” This type of Medicare health plan is offered by Medicare-approved private companies that must follow rules set by Medicare. Most Medicare Advantage Plans include drug coverage (Part D).
Additionally, Medicare Advantage plans can work with VA benefits for veterans, allowing them to receive care from both systems and access non-VA providers.
Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) is extra insurance you can buy from a private health insurance company to help pay your share of out-of-pocket costs in Original Medicare. Medicare Supplement policies are standardized, and in most states named by letters, like Plan G or Plan N. You must have Original Medicare – both Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) to buy a Medigap policy.
ACA refers to the comprehensive health care reform law enacted in March 2010 (sometimes known as ACA, PPACA, or “Obamacare”). The law makes affordable health insurance available to more people. The law provides consumers with subsidies (“premium tax credits”) that lower costs for households with qualified incomes. Plans may be purchased through the Marketplace or your respective State Exchange.
Please note: You cannot purchase a stand-alone dental plan through the Marketplace unless you’re enrolling in a health plan at the same time.
Most dental plans follow the “100-80-50” rule. This rule means that the insurance company pays for 100 percent of checkups and cleanings, 80 percent of fillings and root canals, and 50 percent of crowns, bridges, and other major procedures.
Please note: Most Medicare Supplement Plans DO NOT offer dental, vision and hearing coverage. Check your policy beforehand to see if those benefits are offered in your plan.
Life insurance policies generally fall into three categories: term, permanent, and final expense and we offer all three.
Term policies last a set timeframe (often 1, 10, 15, 20, or 30 years) and are typically the most affordable.
Permanent policies last your entire lifetime, have cash value that grows, and are more expensive.
Final expense policies are a more affordable type of permanent life insurance with a lower death benefit that’s designed to cover your end-of-life costs.

Life insurance policies generally fall into three categories: term, permanent, and final expense. Once you understand the difference, you can easily determine which is right for your beneficiaries’ needs and your budget. Term policies last a set timeframe (often 1, 10, 15, 20, or 30 years) and are affordable. They’re typically for supporting your loved ones in case you pass away unexpectedly. Permanent policies last your entire lifetime, have cash value that grows, and are more expensive. Examples are Whole life insurance, Universal life insurance, Variable life insurance, and Final expense life insurance. Final expense policies are a more affordable type of permanent life insurance with a lower death benefit that’s designed to cover your end-of-life costs.
